How to Enter a Pie:

Pies in the contest

must be homemade and

entered into one of

four categories:

Fruit, Cream, Other, or Vegan.


Bring your pie in a pie dish

you don’t mind saying goodbye to, since we can’t guarantee

its return.


Drop off pies (you can enter more than one) between

1 - 2 p.m. at the Dunbar Auditorium. There is no

entry fee to participate in

the contest.


Try to arrive early if you can.



Prizes:


- Best in Show -

A four-night stay at a beachside condo in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, and chooses the recipient of the event proceeds


- First Place -

(one in each category)

Dinner for two at Janos, Maynard’s, The B-Line,

or Lovin’ Spoonfuls


- Second Place -

(one in each category)

A whole pie from Bentley’s,

Cup Cafe, Pastiche,

or Epic Cafe


- Third Place -

(one in each category)

A 2010 edition

Eat More Pie t-shirt


Ribbons will be awarded to all winning pie bakers, including third place.


A prize will also go to the most creative pie.

For those entering pies and everyone else...


Join us from 4 - 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 11th, at the Dunbar

School Auditorium (325 W 2nd St at Main Ave) for the

announcement of the winning pies and to eat some of the tastiest treats that Tucson’s ovens have to offer.


Pie will be sold for $3 a slice or $5 for two slices. You can eat as much as you like.


Coffee will be provided by Epic Cafe.








The grand prize winner will select the recipient of the event

   Desert Harvesters - promoting and celebrating native foods of the

      Sonoran desert by enhancing local food production
